I've been looking around the net and can't really find info. The car I'm thinking about buying is a 89 with a 4cyl and a 5spd. Was wondering did they come with the 8.8 or 7.5 rear end, also if i find a 5.0 bellhousing would the tranny swap over.

 

4 cyls have 7.5's.... check ebay for the bellhousing

 

yes it will swap over, but the tranny wont last long on the 5.0 if thats what youre talking about doing.
