I wanted to make my car handle a little better, so i decided to put new shocks/struts on it. Anyways, due to budget concerns, I bought the front struts used. After I put them on, they made a popping sort of noise whenever I hit any bumps, so I figured the struts were bad and shelled out for a new pair.

The brand new pair of struts make the exact same noise, kinda like a popping noise whenever I hit a bump.

Any idea of what this could be?

 

Sounds like their loose or a mount is worn out.

My friends rodeo did that after we replaced it. He told me he had to hit it with a impact gun and it fixed it.
