VERY WORRIED. Please Read.
Yeah, that was my guess about the liquid also. Im prolly just going to go to the dealer and see what they have to say. If they thing there is a problem then ill get it checked out. And Scarface, trust me, there will be an *** beat for this one.
Dude, that is just plain wrong...and dangerous. What an ***. Chances are it didn't do anything, but as everyone else said get it checked. Even if nothing immediate shows up, I'm sure he did you the "favor" of shortening the life of your tranny. I'd take $100 worth of his butt if nothing else!!
i think it will be fine. when that happens the engine quits, like you said it did, and acts like a safety device. trannys are made of clutches and bands, so it probably really didnt do anything except some premature wear on the internals. dont sweat it, if it drives fine and the fluid looks good, drive on. i dont think a shop would be able to really find anything if its operating allright.
yeah it should be ok,,,once it hit reverse it stalled imediatly and therfore the torque converter stopped building pressure and the tranny would then "freewheel" so hope fully in the split second nothing bad happened
