Resistor wire

I'm hooking up a tac. for a 1973 mustang and need to know about resistor wire?

Anyone know?

The tach takes the signal from the coil (+ IIRC). You shouldn't be using a resistor wire for the tach itself. The car has a resistor wire for the coil...
