RE: What was your first car???
Mine was a 1989 Pontiac Tempest when I was 19. It was a hand-me-down when my parents got a new 01 Integra, but I had to pay for some work done to it. My uncle is picking it up this friday. I sold it to him for $800.

My first car was a 1967 Ford Galaxy XL.It had a ton of miles on it.It had a 390CID(2barrel I think).
It would overheat alot since the rad was shot.If you let it cool down ,it would be fine.I drove the pants of it.It was a real trooper.

This will date me as one of the oldest f@rts here.
My first car was a 1949 Plymouth 4dr. Pea soup green, straight six with three speed manual shift on the column. Clutch and brake pedal shafts came up through the floor. I seem to recall that the starter switch was a button on the floor, as was the hi/low beam switch, but I may be confusing it with a friend's '51 Chevy. The Plymouth had vacuum windshield wipers; manual choke and single barrel carb with wet (oil bath) air cleaner. Bought it for $45 in partnership with one of my buddies at age 16. We each told our parents that it was the other guy's car since neither of our parents would approve. We drove it all through our senior year in high school until one day it was STOLEN from the school lot. Cops found it a week later in a ditch about 50 miles away. We didn't have enough money to get it out of the impound lot so we just left it there. Great fun while we had it; you could play raquetball (or other coed games) in the huge back seat...
