Curious to see if there were any early warnings of what was to come!! lol
I'll start first.
1968 Ford Falcon (just a kid so I did not know anything about specs and such, only that I had a car that needed alot of work.
Girlfriend bought it for me.

First car - 1979 Mustang Ghia Sport 5.0L 4-spd.
I paid $500 for it, from the first owner.
I was 15.
Charcoal grey.

Started late in life, the Army had me for awhile, so I got my 1st car at the age of 21. It was 1963 Falcon Sedan Delivery, 289 auto and 9" rear put in by the previous owner. Paid him a whopping $400 in 1972. Then the fun started recammed it, reworked the heads, headers, close ratio 4 speed. Needed the L60x15s on the rear to get any traction. Had enough power that it twisted 1 driveshaft in half. Ended up with a 12.9 quarter mile car out of it. Never got to finish it off, minor things like paint and Paxton blower were next on the list. Looking for my old pics of it.

It was a pu$$y getting machine! Cool how I got it to. My dad and I were out lookin' at different cars for me (ranger, grand prix, camaro, mustang), and we didn't get anything just yet. Then one night while I was pitching in a baseball game, I looked at the parking lot cause a car was pulling up. I'll be damned it was the Camaro we looked at, I was pretty f***ing excited, and I think we won to top it all off. Good times!

Picture right after someone broke into my car for a set of valve covers.

How did you get it? Half and half, paid $10k up front at dealership, parents covered the last $7900. Paid back $5000, rest was graduation present.
Cost? $17900 + title + taxes (23k when all was said and done)
Color? Black!

Have pics? Chea! See my Photobucket... Pictures of day one are on the 2nd and third page (they are really deeply colored, the camera was strange). 7500 miles as I drove it off the lot, 9800 as I drove it in my driveway for the first time.
Now, my next 20k is going into making this into a 4v 650+ RWHP monster
I've got it all planned out and will be building it myself.
