Yea with a door hinge kit from an autoparts store, should fix your problem most of the time. This is just a repoir kit though, if it don't work you could just go to a boneyard and take the hinge off the door and frame from another fox.

check the striker to see if the plastic is still on it if not replace it too or you'll be replacing the hinged stud again

I just fixed the hinge on my driver's door on my '88 and it was a royal pain in the ***. Not sure if the '83 has the same pin and bronze bushing setup though.

I did not replace the entire hinge, just got a pin and bushing kit and replaced the bushing and the hinge pin. The bushings were worn out and this let the door droop when opening. The pin is very hard and no room to get a cutter in there to cut it, so I ground off the top of it and drove it out the bottom with a punch. Then installed the new bushings and the new pin from the top and the door acts like it's brand new now. You might have an easier job if you pull the fender and remove the entire hinge and door as an assembly though.
