Default Don't use air shocks

Made the mistake of installing a set of air
shocks in my 89 GT, with the thought I would
keep the rear up in the winter on the pot
hole PA roads. After a few weeks I noticed that
they would no longer hold air and that the right
rear shock had broken the top shock mount cup
off the welds on the frame and body.

Not being able to weld in the area of the GAS TANK
I had to figure a way to bolt the mount back on to
the frame and body.
I guess the stiffness if the shock caused the member
to break.

yup, air shocks are not any good, unless it is bolted directly to a frame rail
