Don't neglect your fuel filter!
Wish someone had taken your advice on my old pickup. The fuel filter sits on the frame rail just behind the driver. I bought the truck in Michigan and apparently no one had changed it in some time. It's rusted solid. I've tried everything I can think of to break it loose short of heat. <grin> My only option is to replace the braided steel fuel line from the throttle body to the filter. You can't buy just one either...you have to buy the supply and return lines from GM.
So its going to cost me $100+ to replace my fuel filter plus the work to actually replace it!!!!

I've soaked the stinkin' thing in probably a quart of PB Blaster over the course of a month. It's stuck tight!!!
