question about 110 fuel

RE: question about 110 fuel
I will say that I was not detonating on 91, and I think that I owe that to my heads. No detonation kind of eliminates the need for higher octane. Actually, one should run the lowest octane fuel without detonation being a problem.
There is a lot left to be desired in my tune, and I will be spraying at least a 100 shot, so maybe with a better tune (more timing, etc) and the nitrous shot, 110 will be more feasible. What I can say without a doubt is that the Horse doesn't run appreciably better with the 110 in there, and so ultimately, the added expense is not worth it.

RE: question about 110 fuel
Well I only suggested a cell with a different octane of fuel in it so you KNOW what octane is getting to the engine, instead of a mix, also lets you save some money, don't have to burn any precious 110 if you won't be spraying
