thats a 97 at 3600 lbs...mine was a 95....I test drove a 97 convertible last week that was over 4K (thats what it said on the sticker in the door)

looks like they got lighter...a 99 is about 3200

 

No way it weighed that much, that was likely the GVW you looked at dude - the estimated weight of your car fully loaded with passengers and luggage.

 

i find that totally hard to beleive. oh well, guess the 2nd gens weighed a helluva lot more

 

i am not kidding at all...on the sticker inside the door it said like 4090 lbs.... and my 95 eclipse gs-t said like 3620 or something like that

I realize that now....according to nada it weighed 2954 and the gs-t spyder is like 3053 or something

you're right i'm wrong... ....so weight is factored in there too...but I'd have beat those stangs by more than 3/10s in the quarter
