Mine did the same thing to me and I cleaned it several times and it still would come on so I just unplugged the damn thing and kept on eye on the overflow bottle and the radiator and didn't have any problems with no damn light after that.

I love it roundman!! There aren't many folks willing to do that!!

I agree with roundman though blurbo. Chances are one from a junkyard are going to do the same thing, and Ford is going to want a fortune. Unless you really want the idiot light, I'd disconnect it.
