thats my question and will that basicly be the p.i heads or is it a total different deal becuase my freind wrecked his 03 gt and i was wondering if i could throw his heads and intake on my 2v 1998 gt any help thanks

Yes it will work. But make it easier on your self and just swap the engine into the car. A lot easier I promise.

yeah i just might alos at a insurance company here in town i see a 03-04 cobra totaled but the engine bay looks perfect im thinking about buying at and swap the 04 or 03 cobra engine i dnt knw if its an 03 or 04 but i knw its one of those, how hard would it be to swap my 98 gt 2v for the 03-04 cobra engine? i have an automaitic tranny, but will everything fit up and work? or are modifications needed>? please get back to me the insurance company wants 800 for the whole car and they will prolly soon sale it to a salvage yard get back to me asap thanks a alot and i like your gt very nice is it dropped if so what size? looks real nice

If you are able to get an wrecked 03/04 Cobra for $800 buy it NOW. The engine and tranny are going for atleast $8000 on ebay. I seen a wrecked one go for $12,500 on eBay recently. But yes you can transfer everything over. If you don't buy the car send me a # and I'll buy it.

yeah i just had it towed over here today, i skipped out on work just to get it in my hands i now have a tarp over it and i will be taken pics soon and they always have them in the sacramento area, ive seen a few in the past 2 months the only problem is finding it befer the dismantlers get it or out bid them, they have a huge yard over here of wrecked late model cars most of them awiting for dismantlers to buy them, they told be about 5 months ago they had an 04 cobra the dismanters got it for 500 what they do is sit on it till the insurance takes the price down i really dont know much else than that but im happy with what i got i might be selling off body parts the fron bumpers good, fenders, driver door, interior, tranny, wheels, brakes and just the back is totaled but i will contact you and ill keep an eye out for another one cause the way you put it it was a steal

yeah i just dont know how hard its going to be to throw the 04 cobra motor into my 98 gt i dont know if im going to have to buy any parts or if i can just throw it right in, i hope everything matches up flawlessly, anyone ever done this before?
