Default RE: header installation questions

I installed BBK long tubes and It was difficult to say the least. Mine came with install directions but they were vague on specifics. I found that lifting the motor about 4-5 inches on the passenger side helped but overall there was no room to squeeze my hand in to start the bolts much less get a torque wrench on them. I'm an Aircraft Mechanic and luckly we have numerous special tools in the shop. I ended up using two wrenchs that were bent. One was almost a half moon shape and the other was in an s shape. With out those I wouldnt have been able to acess the aft upper two bolts on the passenger side. Also some thing that wasnt in my directions was how to bend your dip stick inorder to it fit after the installation. I ended up just pounding it out with a mallet through trial and error until it fit properly. On my application there is no were to secure the rerouted dip stick to like stock. If you find someway PM me and let me know.
