Im gonna be buying the cheapest tires possible coem spring time.
Ive been on MT's on my rear for so long, i forget what its like to punch it in 2nd gear and get loose
Im leaning toward the Sumitomo 245/45's...
anyone know of anything that may be cheaper?

i personally go with either goodyear, bfgoodrich, nitto or mickey thompson. from what i experienced, i cannot stand bridgestone or michellin.
275/40/17 is my favorite just a thought.

I bought a set of cheap Falken brand tires to replace the original Goodyears on my '02GT & IMO they're GREAT!! For the money, they grip pretty good & are wearing nice & evenly, WAAAYYYY better than the POS Goodyears the car came with

I have had great luck with Khumo tires on a bunch of muscle cars as well as a few rice burners. You can also check out second line tires like Remington, which is Dunlops less expensive brand. Typically you will find the same tread patterns, sizes and ratings on the second line stuff for a lot less money.
