Default Eibach Lowering Springs

I was planning on getting Eibach lowering springs for my 03 GT, but i was told that it would hurt my 1/4 mile times. Is this true? If I do get lowering springs, should i get a different brand like BBK or is Eibach a favorite around here?

all lowering springs will hurt straight line performance. the only springs that would help straight line, would be launch springs. but coilover is the best way to go, you can lower your car all you want, then raise it to the desired level for drag racing.

1 option i forgot was to get lowering springs, then get steeda billet alum adjustable lower control arms...you can raise/lower your car up to 1 inch with them...so at the track, you could raiser her up in no time at all.

with coil overs you should have a pro install them because it takes a pro atleast 8 hours to install and get everything aligned, if you put them on yourself and dont know what you are doin you can worsen your ride...
