Whenever I let off the gas at 25MPH or less, I hear squeaks that sound like they're coming from under my car. It's not one long squeak, it's more like a squeak for every tire revolution. Is it the brake pads? Would they squeak even when I'm just coasting and not applying the brakes?

Nah, it's not the humming, it's high pitched squeaks that just started a week or so ago and are driving me crazy. It almost makes me embarrassed to drive.

 

It is possible that the brake pad squeelers
have finally reached the rotor.
If the squeeks stop oir change when
you lightly hit the brakes, you
should take off the front wheels and
check the thickness of the brake pads.
