Default mach system question

My g/f has a 98 GT w/ a mach 460. I have an 02 and my tweeter grills just say mach. My system sounds dead compared to hers. Is mine a different system or is something wrong with it. I have the 6 disc system, unfortunately not the 1000. I don't mean to sound stupid but car audio is not my strong point. Any help someone has for me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks people. By the way i'm new here so i might as well say hi also.

Default RE: mach system question

She could have set her base high, that way she gets more boom. Check her settings.

Another thing, you want your audio to sound better than hers, just a word of advice. If it sounds worth, then you gotta tell her it sounds better, and that hers is not as good. Otherwise man, she is picking on you, and you know what happens when women pick on man?

Default RE: mach system question

they are 460's. they have just the mach mp3 or w/e but they don't have tweeters. I wouldn't be upset about not having a 1000...its much cheaper to get aftermarkets and they sound better anyways...not to mention you have more trunk room. Try yours with ur setting to mid and make sure hers are set to mid also. If it still sounds weird you may want to go in and make sure your sound isn't set to "jazz club" "hall" or w/e those other setting you can have with the systems are.
