ok i have a 98 gt, w/ he t-45 trani, if i boguht a short throuw, how easy is it to install, froms the looks of it, all you have to do is take the bott off, and then second smaller boot on top of the trani, then unbolt the handle of the shifter, and throw the new one in? is it that simple or do you have to do some real digging around in it? would an amatuer be able to do it?

I just put the steeda tri-ax in mine, and installation was simple. After about 20 minutes I was back on the road. Honestly I would say that anyone could do it without any problems.

 

I also have the Steeda short throw and it was about a 20 minute job and was easy to do for beginners like me

 

do you guys recomend the Steeda over other shifters like the Pro 5?
