Ram Air Hood
Hello all, I have a question for anyone who can answer it.
Let me give a little background first though. My husband is currently deployed and for a "welcome home" present, I am attempting to get him a ram air hood for his 66 Mustang. So hopefully you will all go easy on me and my limited knowledge.
Now, what I have found is a listing on Ebay (yes, EBay) for a hood *listed* as a Shelby hood with ram air. I emailed the seller and he says that it'll fit a 66 coupe. The thing is, is that my husbands Mustang is not a Shelby, it's a 289.
Is the seller right? Will a Shelby designed hood fit a 289? [sm=smiley24.gif]
I just really don't want to buy something and have it end up being a big mess. Thanks for any ideas you guys might have.

it will fit. the only difference between a normal mustang and a shelby is that the shelby mustang has all the mods that carol shelby designed for the stangs. mainly the shelby's are just high performance versions of a "regular" mustang
