why is my stang overheating?
i have a 1988 mustang gt and i just put a a9l ecu and mass air on the car a long with a 6psi supercharger and now, my car over heats when i rip through the gears. i changed the head gasket a few years ago and i just changed the water pump about 400 miles ago, anyone have any idea as to what is going on here? the car is fine when i dont "boost" it. i cant figure it out, but when it over heats it blows all the coolant out of the cap and it blows a gallon out of there....im pretty sure the thermostat is working properly because the temp will go up a few degrees and then drop to normal ( this is before it overheats)

Sounds like you're running lean at WOT. Your engine should warm up when you're getting on it, but not drastically.
For blowing through the cap, it sounds like a bad cap and/or a plugged overflow line. Could also be an improper cap.
