Cowl induction hood+rain=??
Ok, 1st dumb noob question.....
My car has a 2 1/2" cowl induction hood on it. How do I keep rain from getting in my air filter and carb while driving and sitting at work all day? Or is this a non issue? TIA

I had a 3 inch on my car and never had a problem with it, I wouldnt worry about it. Anytime it rains and your driving your gonna get the motor soaked anyway reguardless of the hood.
There have been many cars produced from the factory with cowl induction hoods. I wouldn't worry about it. If you are worried about any of your electrical connections shorting out, here is a tip. When I was in the USAF, we had a can of ignition sealer we used on all the electrical connections on the F4 phantoms I worked on. I scraped the paint off one of the cans and low and behold, it was a can of aqua net hair spray! I've used that cheap hair spray on everything under my hood ever sense. Coat your dist with it and you can take it to a car wash, and with the engine running, spray the dist. The car won't even sputter.
