Default Wiring for Alternator/Generator

Hey whatsup,
I just bought a '64 1/2 mustang coupe with a i6 200ci.
I did some work on it and got it to run. I drove it around for about a day and by the end of the day my battery was dead.
I did alot of work and then found out that it had no coltage regulator. i bought an alternator and a voltage regulator to replace the generator but now i'm having trouble wiring it.

What wires will i need and do you guys have a diagram or something to help me out?
