ORIGINAL: RyansQuick6

Most common:
Bad rrings
Bad valve guides/seals
bad head gasket

Is it only in one cylinder, one bank or all of them?
Head gaskets do not seal any oil passages. It is probably valve seals, nothing to really worry about.

They are little rubber seals that go over your valve tip. They just seal the valve from the valve guide so that oil does not drip into the cyclinder. It really won't hurt anything, it's just somthing that happens on engines as they wear and get older.
