Default 1st gear grind

you know how when you try and put the car in reverse while it's moving and you fell that grinding feeling and it's loud as hell. well now my first gear is doing that. i can only put it in first gear when the car is COMPLETELY to a stop. it's a 2k gt but month before last the tranny went out and got replaced with a '05 transmission. there's less than 3k miles on this transmission and it's doing this, what the hell is wrong.
also, before it started doing that yesterday it had trouble starting. i tried twice and on the second time i actually had to give it gas for it to fire up. what the hell is wrong with my car???

My car won't downshift to first without grinding unless I blip the throttle. My friends 04 is the same way.

usually i'm rolling up to a stop sign so probably like, 10-15. but i don't let off the clutch. when i usually do first gear takes over at like 7-10 mph.
