So ASE certified doesn't neccesarily mean that your a real knowledgable mechanic? A certification from a Manufacturer like FORD would mean more? Like Factory Tech Certified? or something like that?
Hmm, those ASE patches can be deceiving. When I bought my `87 Vette a couple of years ago, I went to pick it up later in the day, after paying for it. The service manager said " you can`t have it today " I said " why not ?" He told me that their "ACE" certified mechanic was working on the car`s windshield wiper motor, & accidently broke the windshield. That was an expensive day for that dealership, the windshield & liner for C4 Vettes are very expensive
ASE isnt a big ol cert in everything ,its several diff parts, and if i wentto a school again id do like a ford fact programe or chevy,chrysler,others.. more$...
