My buddy has 4.10's in his car... '00 GT 5 spd and when he is cruising on the highway at 80mph he is running 3000rpms. Thats a LOT of gas getting sucked down. My other buddy has 3.90 and at 80mph he is running about 2600 rpms at 80mph and still has a really good push behind them.
You can get 3.90's from most any performance site. They dont fall under the 3.27's, 3.55's, 3.73's, or 4.10's. They always are seperate and are about $20 more than the 4.10's. They are probably the best all around gear for those of us who drive the highway a lot.
I was going to get them put in last week but I was in Dallas for a few Active Duty soldiers who died in Iraq so I had to cancel the order and the guy said it would take a week to get the gears in so it probably wont be done till after the meet now. [&o]

Found some 3.90's on mustangtuning.com for $147.99...good deal?? they're Motive Performance Plus, good part?. Does Ford make 3.90's? I only saw (3.55, 3.73, 4.10) in Ford FRPP gears.
