Hey, I am a new guy here and would like to say HI! I am having a 68 429 thunderjet built for my 72 Mach 1. I have it at the shop and they are assembling now. They called and asked if I had the water pump block off plate. When I took the engine apart I made sure I put all the patrs together but did not have this plate that goes between the pump and timing cover. They say some did not have this plate. Does anyone know if the 68 429 thunderjet had this plate?? If so where to get one?

I seem to remember that the plate comes with the water pump already installed on the back of it, but I'm not absolutely sure of this.
