Default New Stang Owner

Finally bought a mustang and love it - 2004 GT. I was wondering if anyone had any recs on mods - I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, maybe one thing a month. Any recs on some quick mods to pick up HP? Also, anyone know how to pop off the door panels to replace the speakers? Thanks for all the help!

gears, short shifter(unless you have an automatic, then, a small stall[2300-2500rpm] and a shift kit), exhaust. those would get you off to a good start.

cold air intake is always good first mod. but with a brand new one, you might want to be careful what you do as some dealers won't stand behind the factory warranty if they see a bunch of mods on the car. they make a tool to get the door panels off with without breaking the little clips that hold them on, suggest you go to auto parts store and get one, looks kinda like a putty knife with a groove cut into the middle of it but it's a little stiffer than a putty knife. you also need to remove the screws/bolts holding the arm rest on too, sometimes they're hidden behind a plastic plug on the bottom side of the arm rest. not sure about the newer ones, but in some cars the speakers will remove without removing the door panels.
