inertia switch wire
I belive it runs down the large harness that runs the drivers side of the car from the trunk to the front at the junction block and the other end goes to your pump. Why?
Does the wire color change somehow? becuase i cant find the Green/yellow in the harness (ive opeend and looked throught the wires) or maybe im jsut blind.
well Im planning to splice a switch into the circuit as an antitheft. and if i have the time i also want to hook up the seat belt sensor into it

OK, here goes, the wire you need to be concerned with is the Dark Green w/ a Yellow tracer, it does not show me the exact route, but here goes, the DG/Y wire runs between the Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) and the Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch (IFS) the CCRM is located in the passenger side front fenderwell according to the locator, as you know the IFS is located at the left rear inside the trunk, according to the full body view, for both cpe and vert, 3.8 and 4.6l the harness runs up the drivers side and cuts over across the trans tunnel to the pass side, now if I remember right when I had my interior out, this happens near the base of the dash and is a thick damned harness... Happy Hunting...lol. Now if you modify/interuppt this wire, you CANNOT have more than .02 voltage drop. This vehicle uses a returnless fuel system and as such varies the pump voltage to regulate pump output. Now on the output side of the IFS or have a Pink w/ a Black tracer wire, that feeds directly into the Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPM) which is located somewhere near the drivers side rear shock tower, dont mess with this. Period. that is the controller that regulates the fuel pump output and is controlled directly by the PCM accross the data bus.
I hope that helps you a bit
