hey all.....just wondering if anybody can tell me where my fuse box is i'v got a 85 LX hatch......and also my power window on the driver side quit working yesterday.....i have the door panel off but i cant get it to go up anything that would help would be awsome.....thanx...

 

To test quickly tap motor with a small hammer while holding down the switch in the up position. If motor works replace it will soon stop again. If this test fails take a test light and check for power at motor if motor has power in both the up and down position replace motor. No power test switch if power if ok check fuse if fuse ok check wiring at door boot. need more info let me know. I fix these problems all day at ford

Ok look for the three small dimples in the door sheet metel they will form a triangle. It is located towards the bottom section. Drill out these dimples with a 1/2 drill bit the motor is attached with 3 8mm bolts remove the bolts and the motor can be removed. You will also need to remove the door speaker sor access to the motor so you can get it out of the door. Did you test the motor yet? </P>
