air fuel ratio going crazy
My frined jus installed an air fuel ratio gauge an autometer one now as hes cruising the light is bouncing around form rich to lean and flies around faster when he floors it to him he doenst really care he jus likes it cuz he thingks its cool (i also think theyre are kinda cool for looks) but shouldnt the light stay in one spot or stay close to the same spot when your jus cruising. why does it jump around so much

quick question on the subject.....when setting fuel pressure, you want the car idling and watch as the air/fuel ratio changes right? and when its stoich you stop there? or should i pay more attention to fuel pressure?

It is supposed to move around, except under load. Under load it should show a steady 'full rich' green light. If that green light starts to move toward the lean side at all under load, you are probably too lean. I have this same gage on my Procharged 01 S281, but have since abandonded this method and now I only use a digital wideband.
