Default RE: Ideal suspension?

road/autocross type - This is more like lowering the car for a lower center of gravity and doing swaybars to help turn and reduce body roll? Do these types of suspension tend to be more loose or move stiff? How does it compare to stock and drag ?
This type of suspension will make the car firmer and stiffer on the road. It will ride a little rougher than stock, but you will be able to outcorner a stock mustang by a considerable amount. Steeds G trac is a great way to go. If you do the Steeda G trac and go to the strip, your car will still work ok, you'll just have to fight tire spin a little more on the launch. If you did a Steeda G trac and added some drag radials or slicks at the strip, it will hook up almost as good as if you had a full drag suspension. Do you ever want to autocross your car? If you do, then drag suspension will really hurt ya. I say that this is the bottom line: Your car will do better at the drag strip with a Steeda G trac suspension than you would do at an autocross with a drag suspension.

Thanks for all the responses. I am 99% sure I am going to do the G trac from Steeda now because it is more in tune with what I want. I will drag race from time to time and I may never autocross but I still feel the Steeda will be more benficial to me in the long run. Thansk again

i agree with birdieman, the steeda will be sweet for autocross and still good for the drag strip.

If you want good suspension i would look into maximum motorsports too. I really like the stuff i have gotten. Get a panhard bar and some lower control arms and steeda uppers and you'll totally feel a difference. it will launch solid and corner like crazy. you'll be able to drift and actually keep control of your stang.
