Default clutch starting issue help!!!

I have a 94 gt with a 347 stroker, MY first issue is that i can start my car without pushing down the clutch. Ford can't help, go figure, I have removed the clutch position sensor and I can still start the car. The only other thing is that one day the care would not start, I followed the starter wire(tan / pink) up to the fuse box are, disconnected it and put power right to it going down to the starter, it cranked. From then on I can start it with out pushing down the cluch pedal. Help any suggestions.

sounds like the neutral safety start switch is bad, replace it and then you will have to be in neutral or push in the clutch to start the car again.
