If course there are V8 options on Stangs and I've found the 8's are only about 2mpg less economic than the 6'rs so, go for the 8[8D] the power boost is worth it! I'd think even an 8 in a Stang is gonna have waaay better fuel economy than a 6'r in a pickup

Make sure U get a 5-speed with that 8 too

yep the gas mileage difference between the V8 and V6 is minimal if you aren't worried about 2 mpg get the V8.

Exactly!. It really grinds my gears when people say they took a V6 over a V8 because of the mileage. Give the V8 a 89 (or whatever octane is recommended) tune and don't drive like a maniac and you can get better mpg than a 6 could ever hope for in stock form.

Thanks guys. I thought the did come with a V8, but I was just making sure. I don't think I'm gonna get a truck right now, unless I find a good deal on a cummins (I'm a sucker for diesels) or this summer reignites my passion for them. What are the most common performance upgrades on Stangs and what are the best companies that make them? Thanks

Don't....You will be getting your *** ****ed royaly with gas mileage and insurance ESPECIALLY if it is your first car. Take my advise and buy something that is reliable and remember you shouldn't need a car to get *****.
