Default fuel pump kill switch

Has anyone ever installed a fuel pump kill switch (toggle). I was thinking of doing that over an ignition kill switch, which can easily be bypassed. I have a 2001 mustang v6. This is for security purposes so if anyone jacks the car they wont get very far if the switch is off=no fuel.

Ok this may be a lame question, but does anyone know which wire to cut into to do this? I was just going to follow the wire from the fuel shutoff switch in the trunk back to the fuel pump, and see if i can tell which one is the power wire. Any help appreciated.

Well I added a kill switch to my key igition on my 83 stang I have a mechanical fuel pump, So there is really no need for me to have a disabler to my fuel, you can add switch valve to you fuel line, Ive seen that work pretty good, they can still start youre car and drive off with small amount of fuel in the line. Usually when a thief is going to steal youre car they usually try to break the key igition slot, Or prying the ingtion switch box on the colum, Ive only seen hot wiring methods done with 60's-70's stang's, Not any with 80's-00's. toggle switches work ok, thieve usually know where to look for them. a good hiding spot would be inside a heater vent.

Good Luck.
