just drill all the waythrough the broken bolt then hammer an extractor in there and turn it out. If you dont have extractors just head down to sears and pick up a set their not too expensive and i guarantee this wont be the last time youll need them

if u have already failed with the extractors then id just head over to a shop and have someone else do it.

myabe try some heat then. What i usually do is drill it out soak it with liquid wrench then take a torch to the outside of the bolt. So far i havent had one that i couldnt pull out

Dont heat the pan gasket too much or youll be replacing that to. Are they broken off flush with the block? Why not just drill holes then tap them, then using a bolt pull the busted pieces out?

In another thread it was said that those bolts are known for breaking after a while. So far mine have never broke on me and there over 140k mi on the od with 3 pump changes.

Be sure to buy all new bolts/studs for the new pump. Im doing the same, just in case im not so lucky next time.
