Get a can of Barrs block sealer and follow instructions, this will stop most head gasket leaks for a while until the repair can be done

Kenny a little history on when I used this for a "temporary repair",I have used this several times for a temporary repair when we raced mini stocks back in the late 70s, in between rounds therewas not enough time to pullthe head and replace the gasket, when the repair was done at home there was noproblem with the sealer blocking anything or even slowing the flow of water, it's possible the motors you tore down had a lot more than the recommended amount.

quite possible but i still do not recomend it gaskets are made to be the sealers not other additives. im not trying to disrespect you but i just dont agree with the stuff now if your in a half to use basis like racing like you said yeah then id maybe. just maybe use it but the 350 i tore into at my shop with about 163000 miles on it .. yeah i saw what it did.. clogged the water galleries .. but you could be right it might have been to much the customer put in his motor i just dont fancy that kind of stuff at all
