Default Rotors..

I had my front brake pads changed a little while ago and I didnt resurface my rotors, now my brakes are noisy and make a vibrating noise whenever I use them. The guy that did my brakes said that resurfacing the rotors is not necessary so I didnt do it. Im going to have to changes the rear pads as well soon, and I was thinking of getting the rotors resurfaced. Would it be as much or a little bit more to just replace the stock rotors, with aftermarket or oem ford drilled and slotted rotors? or just to resurface them? And if I can change the rotors would I still be able to use the same brakes and calipers? or would I have to change that as well? Please let me know thanks

I changed out to the cross drilled and slotted rotors on my '01 and love them. I stayed with the stock size, so I didn't have to change calipers.

Yeah thats what Im thinking of doing does anyone know what the stock silze for rotors is? I think its 11 inches but im not sure. I was thinking about getting 13 inch cross drilled/slotted rotors but I dont want to change the calipers and all that. Does anyone know how much they should cost and how much it would cost to install?

I did the very same thing because my factory rotors warped after 30k miles.

Did any of you other guys have difficulties taking of the Caliper bracket? I went to swap out my front brakes, and was unable to get the passenger side caliper bracket off. I tried braker bars, air tools, soaking in PB Blaster/WD-40 to no avail. The only thing I haven't tried is heat.

Any suggestions?

Also, I was considering swapping up to the Cobra brakes, does anyone know of a source to get the Caliper relocation brackets, or do I need to get the Cobra front Steering knuckles??

Thanks for the help..
