Keyless entry 99. Repogramming does not work

Keyless entry 99. Repogramming does not work

My car was delivered without the keyless remote trensmitter so i bought one on Ebay
Tried several times with the instructions on programming keyless remote entry (ignition off to on 8 times and so on...)
The doors does not lock/unlock as described in the instructions. Anyone else had that problem? Solution?
Does all 99 GT:s have the keyless remotebuilt inor is it an option maybe?

let me know what you find out as i have a 97 that won't start due to the pats anti theft system and transponders.

A lot of strange things can sometimes be solved by disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes or so and then re-connect and take another whack at it.

we just went through the same thing at the shop last week...we changed a lock cylinder on a ford tarus...we had to use a ford scan tool to reflash the PAT system.

you have to short out the 2 wire studs in the left side of thetrunk- just did it on my 97 v6 and all works fine.
looking for the site now will ost back.

now can anyone tell me how to turn off the engine warning light-without paying a mechanic 40 bucks.
did it on my 96 Nissan Maxima for free.

The "short out the 2 wire..." solution does not work on 99+. Neither did disconnection ofthe battery.
Thank you Samoyed but thats the original solution and does not work.
Theproblem may occured when i removed the lock cylinder (you are not allowed to have blinkers and brake lights in the same bulb in Europe. ) I did cut the green wire and put the cylinder back again.
