The fuel, oil pressure and temp gauges in the 1965 Mustang I just bought don't work. Anyone replaced gauges and is this a job best left to a pro? Don't want to take the dash apart and then spend the rest of the summer putting it back together.

 

Have you peeked under the dash maybe there's some sort of "common problem" like a bad grouind etc, that's causing all those gauges to not work? Are they not moving at all?

 

Nope. Not moving at all. Still learning the nuances of this car, and a re-education of sorts as I haven't had a Mustang since the 1980s. Anything in particular I should look for? Wire bundle? Thanks.

 

i have the same problem atm, my 1983 the tach and speedo work but the temp, oil gas and battery dont:/. i Took mine off and i didnt see anything out of the ordinary on any of them... hope someone can help us out.
