Default shocks/struts

I am in the market for new shocks and struts for my 1998 conv. mustang gt 4.6l v8 i have 122k miles on it and starting to bottom out on the smallest road flaws. the only mod to the car is wheels and that is 245/50 tires and exhaust. This is a daily driver and will not be raced, lowered etc. I was going to go with new oem or Napa's sensa-track. has anyone tried either of these? Do I need a strut kit with new bushings and such.I am trying to make this as cheap as possible but still do it right. Ialso want to make sure i have everything before i pull parts so i don't have to run to the store over and over again. Thanks for the help

Out of curiousity, what size rims? Anything 18" or more and the ride will be rougher due to less tire to absorb impact. Bad for the rim to.

You dont need new bushings unless yours are dry rotted, cracked, and/or falling apart. Check them out just to be sure. Worn spring isolators can give a rough ride to. New shocks come with new bushings. I dont know about struts.

Cant suggest a brand as im in the same boat as you. My bushings are getting old to. Roads are terrible.

Spring isolators are rubber rings on top and under each coil spring, front and rear. They help cushion and keep the noise down.
