Caliper Squeek?

Default Caliper Squeek?

When i drive i notice i have a squeeking noise comming from my driver side front wheel..... could it be the caliper?. brakes?.....any idea what it could be.... ( makes it wen im driving and on the brake )

Well if you're driving and using the brakes when the "sqeak" manifests istelf,I would say that does narrow the search area down considerably.

Sounds like the pads are into the chirpers. You may metal on metal. Look at the disc, if the it is starting to get grooves in it, replace them now. You could have to turn your rotors, or replace them if you drive like that long enough.

could be the caliper pad composition. some pad compositions always squeek/squeel. check other manufactures.
