yes i do in my own opinion but i wanted to see what other people thought of it and what they would do
Depending on what your final intended use of the car is, I would be somewhat concerned with the "rust bucket" description you use for the car. If you're just going to make a street daily driver out of it, that's one thing but if you intend to spend lots of cash on it and make it a street/strip car, then I would first recommend you do a thorough inspection of the underneath of the chassis for rust damage to the main chassis, the torque boxes, etc. before I would decide to invest more money in it. If the rust you describe is just in the quarter panels and rockers, then that might not be too bad. But if the rust is also heavy in the main chaissis members underneath, then I would strongly consider finding another car before I invested lots of cash in this one to make it a go fast car.
