abs pump

Default abs pump

my abs pump is malfunctioning and i need to turn it off because it stays on and drains my battery any idea how to do this?

You can start by unplugging the harness that controls your abs and traction control. Its located front right of the engine bay. There is a large block with 6 hard lines (i think) coming off of it. Closest to the fender well, you'll see a large gray U shaped clip. Pull that toward the engine, and then pull the connector straight up. Check for corrosion on the pins and the connector. Water likes to sit in there and corrode the connections. That should give you a good starting point.... Good Luck.
