parking break light?

parking break light?
Hey fellas, i need help. The parking break light on my wifes 87 notch stays on.It used to go off a few seconds later after the handle was released .It now stays on all the time.The break release fine,no drag.Could it be the switch.where is it and how do i get to it.Thanks shes bugin me to fix it. bruce

If you haven't used the brake for
a while, the switch is probably sticking.
Mine went on after using it after a
4 year period. The next day the lite
came on all day no matter what I did to
the handle. Thought my brake fluid level
had failed.
The next day it went out.
