I finally tore my engine apart to the bone and got the cam out. i never have been this far into her cause my dad did most the work before i got it. ne way my question is my cam is a Crane Came Fireball with 454/454 something and the guy said it was a bracket race cam and mild street use. what is the 454/454? and is this a good cam?

 

I would pull the part number off the cam and check it on there website to get the spec.........it's a fairly small cam...it's been some years since they made fireball cams......mostly they have too much duration with mild lift....did this engine lope fairly hard?
