o man! i thought it was a couple bucks to make the coolant filter cost 60 bucks on ebay. i might just try to make one with a pcv T-tube wit a screw on top and mesh cuz thats all it really is i think.

It is pretty sick seeing the coolant, and can you image royal purple antifreeze.....way sick!

 

Wow that's a really good idea! I may have to just stop by Home Depot and see if I can whip a couple together for my vehicles.

 

if you're looking for a coolant filter set up go look around on the Powerstroke sites. I've had one on my diesel for almost 4 years now. You'd be surprised how much $hi+ you can shake out of them after about a year or so and my diesel runs a hell of a lot cooler than any of our stangs. My feeds from an outlet on the water pump and drains back into the overflow tank, got the same set up for my tranny. You might have to get creative in whereand how to mount it but that was one of the first mods I did to my powerstroke and i buy my filters in bulk and change them twice a year.
