Default how to independantly wire a horn button

How do you wire an independant button to the horn? I got in an accident and now my horn doesnt work, and im not trying to drop a bunch of money to get it fixed. So has anyone done this? I need it to pass inspection. Thanks in advance.

You have to find out if it is the horn, the relay,
or the horn switch.
You can get to the horn an put 12 volts to it
and see if it works.
You can get to the fuse and check it out.
You can listen for the relay to click
when you push the horn button.
You can remove the horn switch
and manually short it out to ground and
see if that works.
