Im doing a PI headswap/intake this summer and there are a lot of things i need to take into account, and ive got some questions. Will my stock 97 plenum fit on 99+ intake? When i get headers, im going to get 99+ obviously, but what year h-pipe should i get, 99+ or 96-98. I dont know if 99+ headers will fit on a 96-98 h-pipe. Head swaps are confusing, mixing years. Any help is appreciated, i know there are some of you here who have PI swapped GTs. I hate asking PI questions because it is talked about a lot, but not very detailed. I want to do it right the first time.

 

your plenum will work fine. my suggestion on the H pipe is to get one designed to fit with the headers you buy, as the lengths/sizes of the H pipe will vary accordingly. it will also need to bolt up to your cat back.
